William Lyon Mackenzie King (1874-1950)

He was Liberal Prime Minister in 1921-1926, 1926-1930 and 1935-1948. His views that the dominions should be autonomous communities within the British Empire resulted in the Statute of Westminster signed in 1931. He resigned from his position as Prime Minister in 1948.
