Thinkfinity is a free educational resource with thousands of partner and partner-reviewed lesson plans, student interactives, literacy resources and more. Partners include National Geographic, the Kennedy Center for the Arts, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, National Councils of English and Math, the International Reading Association, the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Smithsonian Museum of American History. Each Thinkfinity partner has developed a subject specific website, linked through the main site. Not only are there a plethora of resources, the quality of them is remarkable and, in almost all cases, suitable for teacher, student, and parent use. Thinkfinity is supported by the Verizon Foundation, though there is no advertising of any kind present on the sites, and content is kid-safe. A search engine puts resources at users fingertips quickly and easily. U.S. Learning Standards are included, but the site covers topics of interest to educators and students worldwide. Professional development is also available online for distant users.
